Afro’s are beautiful…
When white people use the word afro to define their hair when it is unmanagable it speaks volumes about what they think about black hair.
My hair is not ugly. It is no unmanageable. This is what naturally comes out of my head.
It is not a bad hair day, that usually per my observation, can be resolved with the use of the right conditioner and a brush.

I just had to pull that quote out. It is so important. I hear fellow white people complain about their hair “going afro” (unfortunately myself included) and this really highlighted for me how fucked up that is.
