Natalie McDonald was a young girl who was dying of cancer, and wrote to J.K. Rowling, who called her back. Natalie wished to know how the series ended, as she wouldn’t be alive for the last books. J.K. Rowling read her the notes she had on the last books, and gave Natalie a place in Gryffindor.
